Weight lifting is so good for you and most people don't know that you can actually loose more weight by training your muscles than doing slow and long endurance workouts. Important: get help and supervision from professionals!

Sometimes anger and other emotions can come up and intensify through the work out since your breathing and range of motion can increase: don't worry, this is always great and with the appropriate support and process work, you will get even stronger. never let any emotions come into your way as an excuse to postpone the workout; the workout itself is the best way to work through!

walking/running on treadmill: if you have a chance, a gym is always great to work out since it does not depend on the weather and offers cardio, endurance, classes and weight lifting. never forget: it is alwyas great to refresh and work out in the nature as much as possible!

Remember: working out to experience slight discomfort is normal and great effort but know and respect your limits!

Over time, you will need to adjust the training. Always the best to check with your trainer; quality is more important than quantity!

If you work out for example your biceps, also work out your triceps. only muscles that keep in balance will function and support the body system in the best way

Overall: your stomach muscles/back are the center of your body and should be strong to hold your posture, protect your organs and support your breathing mechanism. With the Center of your body strong (also called Tan Tien) you can move mountains!

but most important: never forget to keep hydrated, drink plenty of fresh, preferable room temperatured water!!!

If your goal is loosing weight, don't get on the scale too often. The scale does not measure in an appropriate way what is really going on. You might get discouraged to see an increase in your weight when you start working out hard. Emotional eating is the cause of most weight gain. With professional help and support you can loose more weight long term by working on the underlying issues.

Yoga for example is a good way to integrate a different way of activity, awareness, focus, training, commitment and strength into your weekly plan.

Maybe just hopping around is another way being active: most important: let yourself sweat at least twice a week until you can wring- out your clothes.

Watching TV, reading or listening to music can help to "loose" time, making the hard work shorter. sometimes just meditate or completly focus on the exercise can increase your strenght and stamina.
