Second day on Fuerteventura and I prefered instead of going windsurfing, to cruise around on my bike. first the path was like that...

that must have been a village long time ago...

...and after the long trip "land in sicht!!!" that is Fuerteventura...

a new way, a new adventure has just started.... long way to the Canary Islands...

this is real uphill!!!

once in a while there is a "village".

First, there was one week of traveling (driving down in the car from Switzerland) and spend a loooooooong time on the ferry..

..and my bike was on a strike afterwards!!!

Back to the trip: On the way through spain (Andalusien), we found "Schlumpfland"; a village build into the hills, here some of the oldest houses and one new one under construction

That is the way they keep horses.... I think that horse would be happier in the field..

Kalima is the wind direction called that brings all the sand from Africa over here. the dust will cover everything over night!

it is not a "fatamorgana".. if you look closer there are camels! (ok, tourist attraction...)

incredible what you can find; shells from mussels and bones, pieces of old tableware..

goats are domesticated but are found thousands all over the island

just a little too late... the bunny is back in there already. Fuerteventura has almost as many bunnies as goats but unfortunately you will see theme most of the time only at the butcher's corner
